What is a Board Room?

The board room is the space that is reserved for company’s high-level meetings. It can seat up to 48 people (24 can be sitting at the table, and 24 sitting around the perimeter of the walls). This room reflects K-State Olathe’s commitment to responding to the needs of industry for executive space as well as research and training. The room is a more formal décor and basic audiovisual equipment.

The word « board » brings to mind high ceilings of deep wooded rooms in which wealthy men deliberate on corporate policy and pricing in order to control a market or a chance. Today, however the boardroom has evolved into a central hub of innovation, allowing more collaboration and global participation to make important decisions that could affect the entire organization.

The space’s design must be able to adapt to its usage. The room should also be fitted with the latest technology to ensure that meetings are as productive as is possible. The atmosphere of the boardroom should be welcoming and comfortable to encourage interaction and encourage ideas exchange.

A boardroom needs to be equipped with large screens that can accommodate all attendees. It should also be equipped with projection equipment to show whiteboards and presentations to facilitate discussions. Modern boardrooms may also incorporate a videoconferencing system for remote attendees and provide greater diversity between board members. Infassure provides modern boardrooms to ensure that your next meeting is successful.
